Verb Ballets is honored to perform at Arts in August on Saturday, August 15, 2015 for their west side summer appearance. This free community performance will feature new repertory and audience favorites. Featuring the Cleveland World Premiere of newly commissioned ballet, Because This Must Be, by Lauren Edson, an emerging choreographer and former dancer with Trey McIntyre Project. Her work hailed in reviews as, “dance was one of finely constructed beauty and serenity, which was at times thrust into tension.  Yet, the work blended the two dichotomies with a harmony”.  Guests are invited to bring blankets and/or a chair. Performance will start at 8:30pm.

Join us on stage at 7:45pm prior led by professional dancers from Verb Ballets, kids of all ages will have fun bending and stretching their bodies to form the letters of the alphabet while improving knowledge in spelling, phonics rules, identification of vowels and consonants, rhyming, and storytelling.

Lincoln Park, located at W. 14th and Starkweather in the heart of Tremont, is the perfect venue for this signature outdoor performance series.
