Day 2sday

verbballetstaipei:

Greetings from Asia–we made it folks! It took us a total of 28 hours to make it from Verb to the Hotel in downtown Taipei but we did it! And we didn’t have any major delays or near death experiences…success! As we boarded the plane we did hear that we wouldn’t have wifi and also noticed that there were no TVs on the seats, so that forced us to get creative to pass the time. Coloring, laps around the plane, and cramped ballet exercises in the aisle of the emergency exit were a few of our favorite activities. I only got yelled at twice by the flight attendants (apparently you have to pay for a first class ticket to do ballet in the first class section💁🏼) so I’d say I was right on par👌

Members of Body EDT generously picked us up from the airport and brought us to the hotel to check in and have a meeting complete with adorable Taiwanese snack boxes. I had a red bean gooey treat (mochi maybe?) that was delicious, a peanut rice snack, and a red tea latte. YUMMEH. The meeting was good too😝 The company members were very kind and made us feel right at home in Taipei. After taking a glorious shower and elevating my feet, I feel refreshed and ready to get a full night of sleep. Wanan–goodnight friends, I’ll talk to you tomorrow!
