Global investment firm creates fund to invest in Verb Ballets' talent workforce

Verb Ballets is proud to announce the new Shah Capital Aspiring Dancer Fund. The award is designed to provide support for a dancer each year and a long-term sustainable source of funding for Verb Ballets. Shah Capital is proud to invest in talented dance professionals in the workforce. For the 2016-17 season the award is granted to Antonio Morillo, a first generation Cuban-American, who moved to Cleveland to join Verb Ballets for his first season as a professional dancer. Verb Ballets Hosts New York Choreographer Roger C. Jeffrey 

Verb Ballets is proud to welcome New York based choreographer Roger C. Jeffrey in studio the week of July 5-9, 2016 to create a new work on the company. Jeffrey has performed with Bernice Johnson, Twyla Tharp, Lar Lubovitch, and with Mikhail Baryshnikov's White Oak Dance Project, among others. Jeffrey is a graduate of Juilliard that has danced and choreographed nationally and internationally.
