Borrowing Winds

Verb Ballets premiers the new work titled Borrowing Winds choreographed by Chung-Fu Chang. The title comes from "Kongmiing Borrowing the East Wind," a story in an ancient Chinese novel about a battle in 208 AD in which an Eastern wind assists allied armies in defeating the enemy.

The Lily

Experience the mystery and love between Princess Baleng and the Hundred-pace Snake deity through the masterful choreography of Chung-Fu Chang set on Verb Ballets.

Four Last Songs

Richard Dickinson's ballet about loss and longing, set to Richard Strauss' haunting Four Last Songs. This piece will interpret the haunting melodies of Strauss' last work and the writings of the poets, Hermann Hesse and Joseph von Eichendorff. Dickinson's work explores the story lines in the beauty and gracefulness of the four songs.
