Verb Ballets is honored to return to Akron's Hardesty Park at the Heinz Poll Summer Dance Festival on August 7 & 8, 2015. This free community performance will feature new repertory and audience favorites to be appreciated by both new audience members and dance enthusiasts. Featuring the World Premiere of newly commissioned ballet, Because This Must Be, by Lauren Edson, an emerging choreographer and former dancer with Trey McIntyre Project. Her work hailed in reviews as, “dance was one of finely constructed beauty and serenity, which was at times thrust into tension.  Yet, the work blended the two dichotomies with a harmony”. Also the company premiere of the Russian pas de duex, Spartacus. Known for its show of strength and sensuality the music of Aram Khachaturian sweeps you away in the classic story love story restaged by Daniel Precup, Ballet Master and principal dancer with Ballet Tucson.
